Emily Miller-Beisel took the barrel racing world by storm at the 2019 Wrangler National Finals when she sent Chongo down the alley of the Thomas and Mack for the first time and won the round. Miller-Beisel is No. 10 in the World Standings going into her third NFR.
Miller-Beisel started her regular season with a bang as she won Round 1, Round 2 and the average at the Prairie Circuit Finals. This added $4,082 to her earnings. Her next run came at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo where she ran a 15.250 in the first go of her racket and a 15.180 in the second go. She was one hole out in the Semi-Finals from making it back to Finals.

When Miller-Beisel made the trip to the Ram National Circuit Finals, she ended up sixth in the first go and fifth in the second to end up sixth in the average. She followed it up with a sixth-place finish at San Angelo Rodeo after a 15.900 second run. Miller-Beisel also won in Haysville, Kansas with a 17.470.

In Fort Smith, Arkansas, Miller-Beisel was a 16.630 to be fifth and in Strong City, Kansas a 17.630 was good enough to win it. She was third in Pleasant Grove, Utah and went on to finish eighth in the average at Reno Rodeo.

Over the Fourth of July, Miller-Beisel was fourth in St. Paul, Oregon with a 17.620. She followed it up with a win in Cody, Wyoming with a 17.030 second run and was third with a 17.210 at the Black Hills Roundup in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. In Mandan, North Dakota Miller-Beisel was a 15.800 but a big win in Vernal, Utah at the Dinosaur Roundup came after she ran a 17.080.

In Liberl, Kansas, she ran a 17.480 to win the rodeo and a 17.600 was good enough for the win in Eureka, Kansas. Miller-Beisel did not go as hard towards the end of the year. She wrapped up her regular season with a fourth-place finish in Amarillo, Texas and a fourth-place finish in Omaha.
Miller-Beisel has a great history inside the Thomas and Mack with her horse, Chongo. The duo made an appearance in 2019 placing in five rounds and finishing second in the Average. It’s safe to say Chongo will be her to pick in Las Vegas.
