Brennan came into the Governor’s Cup as the No. 1 saddle bronc rider in the World and he refused to be unseated as the days dwindled down to the regular season.
The Australian bronc rider was as consistent as ever in Sioux Falls. A match up with Harry Rocks of Three Hills Rodeo would be the first 85-point ride of Brennan’s weekend. In Round 2, an 85.5 would cinch the Go-Round win aboard Rev Runner of Burch Rodeo.
Once on to the Semifinals, Brennan’s 88-point ride on Championship Pro Rodeo’s Tickled Pink would be his highest of the weekend and advance him to the Final Four. Although he wound up being second in the Final Four, his earnings were enough to make him your Top Gun in Sioux Falls.
It did not stop there. Brennan’s season earnings are unofficially at $280,019 and that makes him the No. 1 cowboy for regular season earnings in the saddle bronc. The record is his and so is the title of Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
