After a month off in May, Rocker Steiner has hit the road for the summer, and with it came victory. The Texas cowboy got the taste of two wins this weekend to be your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
At the Buffalo Bill Rodeo in Nebraska, Steiner matched up with Beutler and Son Rodeo’s Happy Hour for the second time, the first being at the La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros last season. The two would put an 88-point score on top of the leaderboard. It would be the higher of the two scores last weekend that carried him to the pay window where he picked up $2,200.
From there, Steiner stopped at the Adrian Newtown Rodeo Days where he had Bailey Pro Rodeo’s Little Bug waiting for him. The eight second battle ended with an 86-point ride that cinched the second win of the weekend, the higher paying of the two coming in at $3,300.
Steiner got back in the riggin in Weatherford and headed north where he has not missed a beat. The No. 4 ranked bareback rider in the PRCA World Standings has picked up five wins since returning to the arena at the end of May. The two-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier is only picking up momentum as we get closer to the official kick off of the Summer Run at Reno Rodeo.
Going 2-for-2 in the Midwest had made Steiner your Exmark Roughtstock Athlete of the Week.
