Seven-time World Champion Stetson Wright and Dakota Rodeo’s Trump Train loved Cheyenne Frontier Days. Wright’s won the bull riding and the All Around at the Daddy of ‘Em All make him your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
In the saddle bronc riding, Wright went on to the Semifinals where a 77-point ride kept him in the All-Around game but out of the Finals.
Bull riding was a different story. In Performance 5, Wright made his first 90-point ride of Cheyenne before going on to be 86 points in Performance 6. He finished second in both performances and locked in a trip to the Semifinals.
It was in Semifinal 1 that Wright and Trump Train matched up for the first time and it would be Wright’s second 90-point ride at the Daddy that week. On Championship Sunday, Wright and Trump Train met again and bested their 90-point ride by 1.5 points to be 91.5 and win Cheyenne in the bull riding for the second time. To make it even better, Wright cinched the win on his 24th birthday.
Wright leads the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings and the All-Around World Standings and he sits third in the PRCA Saddle Bronc Standings. His win in Cheyenne will further his lead in the bulls while every time he finds the pay window, he furthers his lead in the All Around. Wright is your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
