As one of only three saddle bronc riders with over $200,000 to his name, Wyatt Casper is zoned in.

Wyatt Casper has thrown his name in the arena for a World Title yet again and as we near the end of the 2024 regular season, the four-time National Finals Rodeo saddle bronc rider has a lead foot down. He went two-for-two in Ellensburg to win it all and be your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.

A match up with Korkow Rodeo’s Ringworm in Performance 1 would get it all started. Casper put together an 88-point ride to get the Long Round win by a point and a half over the very cowboy he is chasing for that No. 1 spot in the world, Damian Brennan. It would be a $4,300 pay day in the very beginning and it would hang on to secure Casper’s shot in the Short Go.

When Championship Monday rolled around, Casper would nod his head on Calgary Stampede’s Xena Warrior. This was a rematch from the 2023 NFR where Casper rode for 87.5 points. He bested that in Monday’s Short Go when he put an 89 on top of the leaderboard beside Sage Newman.

Casper’s total on two head would be 177 points making the title his by three points. The Labor Day Weekend rodeo added $9,500 to Casper’s name. He now trails Brennan by just $5,000 with some of the biggest rodeos of the season still coming up.

The Texas cowboy has his sights zeroed in on a Gold Buckle and his efforts to get there make him your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
