The fifth of PRCA Palyoff Series Rodeos in Oregon comes from the largest city in the Eastern part of the state

Farm-City 2024

The Farm-City Pro Rodeo is underway from Hermiston, Oregon! The rodeo will feature several big names as they compete for a cut of over $330,000. Here is a full breakdown of what you can expect from Oregon.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR

The No. 1 saddle bronc rider in the world is scheduled to compete Thursday night. Kade Bruno looks to extend his nearly $10,000 lead over the field in Hermiston. World No. 2, Damian Brennan is also scheduled to compete Thursday night alongside Bruno. With Lefty Holman, Sage Newman, and Zeke Thurston all competing, you’ll be able to watch the top 5 in the saddle bronc riding compete this weekend.

In bareback riding, Keenan Hayes is not scheduled to compete in Hermiston, opening the door for World No. 2 Rocker Steiner. Steiner is currently $24,000 back of Hayes.

As we near the end of the regular season, bubble watch begins. One of the biggest names on the bubble is three-time NFR Average Champion, Jess Pope. Pope is currently No. 20 in the World Standings and is just over $10,000 out of the No. 15 spot.

All of the big names are out in the tie-down roping with the entire Top 5 competing in Shad Mayfield, Ty Harris, Riley Webb, Haven Meged, and John Douch.

Mayfield has a $6,000 lead over Ty Harris. After Harris, who has earned $194,000 this year, Riley Webb is in a distant third with just under $160,000 earned.
