Hailey Kinsel has successfully set herself up to compete once again for her fourth World Title as she currently sits at No. 6 in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association World Standings and continues to secure her spot with a check from both Kennewick and Bremerton.
Kinsel and her equine partner Sister took second place at the Kitsap Stampede with a run of 17.19 to earn a little over $3,000 in Bremerton, Washington.
She also won a check just shy of $7,000 in Kennewick, Washington at the Horse Heaven Roundup after taking second place in Round 1 with a time of 17.21 and third place in the Final Round to take the No. 2 spot in the average with a time of 34.57-seconds on two runs.
Kinsel has been giving her younger horses a chance to shine but with just one month left in the regular season, she has called on Sister to close it out. The household duo’s impressive trip to the northwest makes Kinsel the Female Athlete of the Week.
