The Cowboy Channel’s Female Athlete of the Week is three-time NFR qualifier Wenda Johnson as her and her trusty equine partner Mo laid down the fastest run of the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo placing the cowgirl second in the Average.
Johnson kicked things off early in San Angelo as she turned in a 16.28-second run on the first day of slack and made her return in Round 2 where she stopped the clock at 14.23 to move in the Average with an aggregate time of 30.51.
Johnson won San Angelo in 2021 and finished second in 2020.
With six performances remaining Johnson is currently sitting comfortably at No. 2 with a promising chance of advancing into the Finals.
