From Her First Horse to the Final Four at The American: The Rise of Dusky Lynn Hall

At 11 years old, she’s already chasing legends and setting her own records.

At just 11 years old, Dusky Lynn Hall is already turning heads in the rodeo world. With over $1 million in earnings and a top 4 finish at The American Rodeo. Dusky’s rise is nothing short of extraordinary.

Barrel racing has been a part of her life since day one, she explains. Her first horse was picked out before she was even born. “He made me who I am,” Dusky says, reflecting how that early bond created the foundation for her career.

Her mom, Dusky Dawn Hall, remembers her fearless spirit at just six years old. “You always dream for your child to be amazing, but who would have thought it would be like this?” she states.

That same year, 6-year-old Dusky declared her goal loud and clear: “I want to go win the million at The American.” Fast forward a few years, and she is already within reach of that dream.

She sets big goals, and she’s proven they’re never too big to chase. “It feels amazing to be my age and to be where I am,” she said.
