Garrett Shadbolt clinched victory Sunday and retained the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo crown in 2024

Garrett Shadbolt secured the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo Bareback Riding Championship Title for the second consecutive year. In an impressive performance, he rode The Cervi Brothers’ Dream Machine, earning an 86.5-point ride.

“Oh my gosh, this is amazing. I can’t believe the luck I’ve had this week. When the luck comes your way, you’ve got to capitalize on it,” Shadbolt said.

Shadbolt advanced out of Bracket 5 in Denver and took advantage of the opportunity as he secured the No. 1 spot in the Semifinals with an 86-point ride on The Cervi Brothers’ Pearl Harbor.

Currently holding the top spot in the PRCA World Standings, Shadbolt has accumulated $28,618 in earnings for this season thus far. A significant portion of his winnings, nearly $12,000, was garnered at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo.
