Gavin Soileau took over the lead in the steer wrestling at Rodeo Austin during Performance 9 with a blazing fast time of 3.5 seconds.
“Just a lot of time in the practice pen, working on stuff like that and had a good steer right there, got a really good start and it just all worked out,” Soileau said about his performance.
Still carrying in momentum from a successful trip to Jackson, Mississippi, Soileau is heading to the Semifinals of Rodeo Austin. He sits No. 22 in the PRCA World Standings but a Rodeo Austin win would keep him climbing.
