The Gooding Pro Rodeo featured three arena-record-tying rides and runs in what was an exciting weekend of rodeo in Idaho.
Cole Reiner Enters the Bubble Conversation with Big Win
Cole Reiner entered the weekend on the outside looking in when it comes to the Bareback Riding Bubble. After a 91-point arena-record-tying run, Reiner jumped to No. 14 in the world thanks to a $5,500 payday.
Reiner is $3,000 clear of No. 15 Waylon Bourgeois as he looks to lock in another NFR appearance.
Kassie Mowry Ties Arena Record in Win
Kassie Mowry joined Cole Reiner in the Winner’s Circle, and like Renier, she did so by tying the Gooding Arena Record. Mowry stopped the clock at 16.76 seconds to get the win. She walked away with over $6,800 and is well on her way to the NFR with her No. 5 ranking on the year.
Damian Brennan Gets Back to Winning Ways
Daman Brennan spent the majority of the early parts of the season in the No. 1 spot, but after a surge by Kade Bruno, and a month between wins, Brennan now finds himself No. 3 in the World Standings.
Brennan took home the title in Gooding with an 89-point ride to earn just over $6,000. He is $20,000 back of Bruno in the No. 1 spot as we enter the last six weeks of the regular season.
