Griffin Smeltzer Takes in All In Wichita At the PBR Nexgrill Invitational

The PBR Nexgrill Invitational, a Pendleton Whiskey Velocity Tour Event, took place this past weekend in Wichita, KS, and wrapped up with some high scores and big points. Among those high scores was Griffin Smeltzer, who took 1st place, winning his first ever Velocity Tour event.

Griffin says his plan leading up to the finals is to “take one bull at a time, keep it simple, and have fun”. Griffin will be in Billings this weekend to earn all the points he can while on the road to the PBR Velocity Tour Finals.

Lane Nobles rode Patches in Round 1 for an 89.5 to finish in 3rd place.

Ednei Caminhas scored an 83 in Round 2 on Cimarron to place 2nd.

In the No. 1 spot, Griffin Smeltzer rode 2 for 2 on Jingle and Go for 86 points in Round 1 and Axel Surgeon for 86.50 in Round 2.
