Four-time and reigning World Champion barrel racer Hailey Kinsel and her equine partner Sister have qualified for their seventh National Finals Rodeo with $105,776 in earnings for the regular season.
Kinsel has not only qualified for every NFR since 2017, she has also won at least $140,000 at every single one, that includes a RAM Top Gun Award with $270,615.
This year, however, she and Sister have their work cut out for them as Kinsel is No. 13 in the WPRA World Standings.
BIGGEST PAYDAYS
Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, $17,529
Kinsel was the cowgirl to beat in Bracket 4 of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo as she notched Go-Round win in Rounds 1 and 2 to secure her position in the Semifinals. After advancing again, a 16.35-second run in the Final Round put Kinsel in second place - which came with a $12,000 payday itself.
Reno Rodeo, $13,385
The Reno Rodeo was a great start to the Summer Run run for Kinsel as she claimed first in Round 2, third in the the Finals and second in the Average. Her time of 16.91 seconds in Round 2 was the second-fastest of the entire rodeo.
FASTEST RUNS
The Calgary Stampee (Alberta), 17.15 Seconds
Kinsel’s time in Round 3 of Pool B was the second-fastest out of 10 days of action at The Calgary Stampede. She won a total of $9,250 toward the WPRA World Standings.
Cody Stampede (Wyoming), 17.34 seconds
Kinsel came in at second place at the Cody Stampede in Wyoming with a run of 17.34 seconds on the clock to take home a check for just over $9,400. Paige Jones took first at 17.20 seconds.
NOTABLE WINS
Kansas’ Biggest Rodeo, 16.75 Seconds
Kinsel cinched her only win of the season at Kansas’ Big Rodeo in Phillipsburg as she stopped the clock in 16.75 seconds. Fellow NFR cowgirls Summer Kosel and Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi round out the Top 3 as they claimed the second and third positions. Kinsel picked up a check for $3,719
