Hailey Kinsel was 16.56 seconds to win Round 1 in Bracket 4, but then took it up a level in Round 2 with a 16.25-second run to win Round 2 and notch the fastest time of the rodeo.
“We (her and her horse, Sister) definitely want to be ready to come back to Fort Worth every year,” Kinsel said. “We’ll be back next week a little more rested up.”
Overall, there have been four runs faster than 16.50 seconds at the rodeo, but Kinsel’s is the fastest by more than tenth of a second.
Kinsel, who made over $3,500 on her two runs, will be joined in the Semifinals by Rachelle Riggers. Rainey Skelton was Bracket 4’s Wild Card.
