Hondo Rodeo Fest Wraps Up With Big Paydays at Chase Field in Arizona

The inagural event paid out $1.1 million across eight events

The Hondo Rodeo Fest brought three rounds of World Class rodeo action, paydays of upwards of $60,000, and some of the biggest acts in country music to Phoenix, Arizona over the weekend.

The packed three days at Chase Field paid out a total of $1.1 million, and there were only eight contestants in each event.

Here are the winners of the inaugural event.

Bareback Riding: Jacob Lees, 258.5 points on 3
Steer Wrestling: Dakota Eldridge, 13.22 seconds on 3
Team Roping: Erich Rogers/Paul Eaves, 14.83 seconds on 3
Saddle Bronc Riding: Ryder Wright and Zeke Thurston, 258.5 points on three.
Tie-Down Roping: Shane Hanchey, 23.92 seconds on 3
Breakaway Roping: Martha Angelone, 16.0 seconds on 3
Barrel Racing: Lisa Lockhart, 41.88 seconds on 3
Bull Riding: John Crimber, 175 points on 2
