The Women’s Rodeo World Championship has announced its return to its old stomping grounds along with a growing prize pot.
The 2024 WRWC will be held in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas with a record payout of $750,000 with a possible $1 million payout to someone if they accomplish the Triple Crown of Rodeo.
“I’m super excited about it. In 2020, we got to rope in AT&T Stadium along with the PBR and to be on a platform like that and get to show the world what women ropers can do it gives me goosebumps. So it’s really exciting to rope in a place like that and not to mention, like you said, the big money that’s up for grabs,” Hope Thompson said.
The fastest women in rodeo will kick start what is sure to be another record setting event starting May 13-19th in Arlington, Texas.
