Tennessee’s got a rising star in the bull riding on their hands. Hudson Bolton leads the Permit Standings with $52,957 to his name. He has consistently made the whistle and it was no different in South Dakota when he cvoered Dakota Rodeo’s Country Boy for the win.
“That bull came out there real good and then started getting up in the air a little bit and it just felt good,” Bolton said.
The 88-point ride is the highest of this season, followed by two 87.5-point rides from May. He leads the Permit Standings by $30,000 and looking back, if he would have known the luck he would have this year, he says he would have bought his Rookie card. But the 18-year-old cowboy already has big wins to his name and continues to impress as the season goes on.
