A 16.42-second run in Round 1 of Bracket 4 locked Ilyssa Riley into the No. 1 spot at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
Riley and her equine partner Money were looking for redemption after falling short during their trip to the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo and were able to find that inside Dickies Arena.
“Money is a great horse and honestly I didn’t have a whole lot of confidence in him today, I didn’t love our performance in Denver but I had to trust. I got home and I worked hard to get him where I knew he could be and he showed up for me,” Riley said.
