Luke Branquinho had an interesting opportunity last week.
The Joseph family in Colorado wanted to expand the bulldogging knowledge in the state and brought in the five-time World Champion to pass along his knowledge.
The two-day school focused mostly on practicing the fundamentals of the sport.
“It’s very important for these kids, especially the ones that have never been on the back of a bulldogging horse to feel the transition from the saddle to the steer, from the steer to the ground,” Branquinho said. “That’s why we really emphasize a lot of ground work.”
