Interview: Cheyenne Frontier Days President Tom Hirsig

During the week that Cheyenne should be crowded with rodeo fans in town for the Daddy of ‘em All, Cheyenne Frontier Days President Tom Hirsig talks about how surreal it is to see the stands empty, the impact of this year’s shutdown and what it’s meant to the community, the team roping event they’re hosting, and plans/contingencies for 2021.

“We’re going to be ok,” Hirsig says. “We’re going to get through this. There’s a new horizon and we’ll be a part of it.”
