The fourth annual Legacy of the West Gala will be held during the Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas next month.
Some of the award recipients included Jackie Crawford, JR Vezain, Chancey Williams and The Cowboy Channel.
Crawford was received the Women’s Lasting Impact Award, given to women in the Western who create change, make a difference and take a stand. Crawford has long been an advocate not just for breakaway roping, but also the integrity of the cowgirl.
Vezain was awarded the All Grit Award as he continues his immense efforts to walk again following his 2018 back injury.
Williams was the Legacy of the West Award winner. That title goes to the individual who upholds the legacy of the industry through ethics and leadership.
And finally, we have to highlight the Media Excellence Award winner, The Cowboy Channel!
The gala unites the Western community with a star-studded event to help stop human trafficking, specifically aiding children who have aged out of foster care.
