Jake Finlay and Generations Pro Rodeo’s Shamus Top the Bracket 6 Round 2 Leaderboard in Fort Worth

Saddle bronc rider and new dad Jake Finlay is capitlaizing this Texas Swing.

Saddle bronc rider Jake Finlay picked up third-place money in Round 1 of his bracket in Fort Worth before he left it all in the arena come Round 2. A matchup with Generations Pro Rodeo’s Shamus was worth 89 points for the Round Win.

“I mean, when you have a great horse at an even better rodeo it’s hard to not be excited,” Finlay said.

While leaving the house comes harder these days with his wife and new baby girl at home, Finlay is making sure it pays off. He is one of two cowboys advancing to the Semi-Finals, the other is Zeke Thurston.
