Jess Pope’s Back-To-Back Trips to the Pay Window in Fort Worth Have Him Semi-Finals Bound

Barbeack rider Jess Pope locks in his place in the Semi-Finals at Dickies Arena.

After an 86-point ride landed him No. 2 in Round 1, Jess Pope leveled up at the pay window in Round 2 when a match up with Calgary Stampede’s Forged Warrior landed him on top.

“Yeah, I mean, this is a really tough pen of horses. I was really happy with what I had drawn. Just happy to be here and ready to keep coming back,” Pope said.

With over $4,000 earned in Bracekt 6, Pope is the No. 1 bareback rider advancing to the Semi-Finals that will take place after the conclusion of Bracket 8. Joining him from his bracket is Cooper Cooke while Strawbs Jones will be out in the Wildcard Round.
