Jesse Brown barely qualified for the 2020 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo but this year, he goes into his second NFR ranked No. 2 in the PRCA World Standings.
He took to traveling with some of the best going down the road including Curtis Cassidy. Getting tips from them and with the horsepower packed into Nutrena Horse of the Year, Tyson, Brown set himself up for an unforgettable regular season.
Brown got the right start to the season with a check from the Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo (Texas) and took that momentum right into the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Between February and March, Brown added $5,054 to his earnings.
JESSE BROWN 3.7 AT THE RAM NATIONAL CIRCUIT FINALS
Brown hit the jackpot at the Ram National Circuit Finals. He won the first two rounds with a combined 8.4 on two head and he was third in the third round with a 4.2 second run. Overall, he took home $13,320.
In true Brown fashion, he kept the momentum rolling to the San Angelo Rodeo. A 3.4 earned him $4,513 in the first round and a 4.1 placed him in the finals.

Another standout rodeo for Brown this season was the historic Calgary Stampede. He won $11,500 after placing in four rounds. His fastest time at was a 4.2 second run in Round 2 of his pool. Brown ended up 6th in the semifinals, two spots shy of a spot in the Showdown Round.
Later this summer, Brown won the Deadwood Days of ’76 rodeo with 3.5 seconds, and he won both rounds of the Big Sky Pro Rodeo where he took home $2,676. That same week he also pulled a check at the Bozeman Stampede and the Mountain Valley Stampede.

To wrap up his season, Brown placed in two rounds of the Pro Rodeo Tour Finale that was held at California Rodeo Salinas. Brown came into the 2021 wanting to win and he did just that. He is going into this NFR in a much better position than last year, and he is hungry for a Gold Buckle.
