Jessica Routier Secures First Victory Lap Inside Frost Bank Center

Jessica Routier qualifies for the Finals in San Antonio with winning run of 14.15 seconds in Semifinals 1

Jessica Routier continued to shine at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in the First Semifinal.

After capturing two third-place Go-Round checks in Bracket 5, she got clinched her first victory lap in the Frost Bank Center with an impressive time of 14.15 seconds in Semifinals 1.

With times of 14.32 in Round 1 and 13.97 in Round 2, Routier and her trusty partner Missy secured the No. 3 spot in the qualifiers, tying with Oceane Veilleux and both earning $3,000.

“Missy is so consistent, everyone who knows her knows her for her consistency and we place a lot but we don’t win first place a lot so when we do it’s just extra exciting,” Routier said.

Routier’s win in Semifinals 1 boosted her earnings by an additional $5,000, bringing her total to $8,000 and solidifying her spot in the Finals.

The competition remains fierce as Semifinals 1 qualifiers include San Antonio’s Reigning Champion Kassie Mowry trailing behind Routier in the No. 2 spot, alongside Wenda Johnson, Shelley Morgan, and reigning World Champion Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi.
