Josh Frost Wins Third Linderman Award

Josh Frost PRT Part 3

For the third consecutive year it has been given, Josh Frost has won the Linderman Award.

In order to win, a cowboy must earn at least $1,000 in three events and he must compete at both ends of the arena.

Frost finished the season No. 2 in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings with $228,557. He added $4,037 in tie-down roping and $1,091 in tie-down roping.

Frost also won the Linderman in 2019 and 2021. The award was not handed out to anyone in 2020.

“The cowboy legacy that goes with it is what really drew me in. The Linderman Award is very prestigious and like I said I enter all three events for that reason,” Frost told ProRodeo.com. “If they didn’t have the Linderman I probably wouldn’t enter the steer wrestling...That third event really adds a challenge to it. I take a lot of pride in that award to have my name on the list with all the other great cowboys that have won it.”

Frost’s older brother Joe won the Linderman in 2014.
