Kassie Mowry Gets Second Texas Swing Run of the Season at Rodeo Austin

Barrel racer Kassie Mowry has dominated every time she swings a leg over Jarvis and that includes at Rodeo Austin.

Kassie Mowry is no stranger to success having a long list of accolades on numerous high caliber horses. Lately, Mowry and her equine partner, Jarvis have been unstoppable and it proved true once again at Rodeo Austin.

“But I am just incredibly proud of this horse for coming in here and doing this. This crowd is wild and it’s loud when we’re running and he just had the courage to run up there and give it everything he had,” Mowry said about Jarvis.

Mowry’s time in the Final Round was 15.40 and when combined with her Round 1 and 2 times put her at 45.76 seconds to cinch this win by almost half a second. She was already the No. 3 ranked barrel racer going into Austin and coming out, she is hot on the tails of World No. 1 Leslie Smalygo.
