Kassie Mowry Leaves Her Mark on the Calgary Stampede and Gets the Win

Kassie Mowry’s trip to the Calgary Stampede was nothing short of spectacular. Not only did she set a new arena record of 16.86 seconds she walked away with the Calgary Stampede Championship title, the famous bronze statue and $50,000.

“Man, I just couldn’t be more proud of [Famous Ladies Man]. To stay consistent like he has and to set an arena record here is just unimaginable but for him to come back and really back it up with some fast times it just means the world to me that he stayed put together,” she said.

Going into Calgary, Mowry was just outside the Top 15 in the World and after the success of Calgary, she might be Vegas bound.

“I feel like he’s kind of trying to make it happen so we may be going to the NFR, I don’t know, we’ll see how he keeps feeling after this,” Mowry said.

Competing against some of the best barrel racers in the business, Mowry and her horse Famous Ladies Man left their mark on the greatest outdoors show on Earth.
