Kassie Mowry has been on a roll unlike many in NFR history, not only has she won each of the last four Go-Rounds, she has done so by getting faster and faster every time.
On Wednesday, she was 13.19, the second fastest time in the history of the Thomas & Mack Center.
“I think Jarvis can feel (the support from the crowd),” she said. “The crowd goes wild and he just runs that much harder, it’s incredible.”
After the first three rounds, it looked like a forgone conclusion that Hailey Kinsel would win Gold Buckle No. 5. Instead, Mowry has roared back to be in the driver’s seat with three rounds left in Las Vegas.
“Now it might be a possibility, it just wasn’t something I was concerned about coming here, but this horse deserves it,” she said. “I would love to see it happen and we’re going to give it our best shot every night.”
