BAREBACK RIDING

The million dollar cowboy Richmond Champion will nod on a young horse of Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s, Pink Smoke. Tanner Aus was 85.5 points on this horse in Oklahoma earlier this summer.

STEER WRESTLING

While a 4.0 leads Round 2, a 7.6 leads the average but almost a full second. Cody Devers was a 5.9 in Round 1 along with Tyler Pearson but it is Tyler Scheevel who has a chance at taking over the Average after stopping the clock at 4.1 seconds in Round 1.

Dirty Jacket is a standout bronc of Pete Carr’s and he will be underneath Wyoming’s standout cowboy, Brody Cress for the first time according to Stock Stats. But the competition will be tough as Lefty Holman has a rematch with Carr’s Downtown, a horse he rode for 87 points in San Antonio this season.
