Levi Lord’s last two seasons were the most lucrative of his career, with earnings of $190,000 in 2023 and $211,000 in 2022. In 2024, he’s already matched those marks in the regular season alone, collecting $201,008 after 19 rodeo wins. He enters the NFR as the No. 1 heeler in the PRCA World Standings, holding a $10,000 lead over reigning World Champion Wesley Thorp.

Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo, $6,773

Over the past two years, Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord have set the standard for consistent speed in team roping. They wasted no time backing up their reputation in 2024, dominating the first Playoff Rodeo with back-to-back runs of 3.9 seconds. Their 7.8-second total on two head was more than a full second ahead of a three-way tie for second place.

National Western Stock Show and Rodeo, $7,489

Egusquiza and Lord stayed perfect in Playoff Rodeos to start the season, clinching their second win with a 4-flat run in the Finals, edging out their closest competition by half a second. It was just the beginning of a dominant 2024 campaign, where they would win more Playoff Series events than any other team.

Rodeo Austin, $19,267

Egusquiza and Lord made their mark in the State Capital during the Texas Swing, winning Round 1 and the Finals with identical 3.9-second runs. Their consistency paid off as they topped the Average with a total of 12.5 seconds on three head.

Egusuqiza/Lord have won a Texas Swing rodeo each of the last two seasons and Lord has won three in his career.

Guymon Pioneer Days, $4,360

Adapting to Guymon’s unique challenges, Egusquiza and Lord showed their versatility by winning the Average there as well. Their 22.6-second total on three, despite no finishes higher than fourth in the rounds, outpaced the next best team by nearly two seconds. It is the second time Lord has won Guymon in the last three seasons.

Greeley Stampede, $10,330

The Greeley Stampede provided the early momentum Egusquiza and Lord needed during 100 Rodeos in 100 Days. With a 15.6-second total on three head, highlighted by a 4.4-second run in Round 2, the pair won the rodeo and were both No. 1 in the World after the first weekend of July.

Ellensburg Rodeo, $6,160

Egusquiza/Lord had solid showings throughout July and August including Go-Round wins at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo, Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo, Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo, and Caldwell Night Rodeo, but they really turned the heat back up over Labor Day.

They won Round 1 and the Finals in Ellensburg and were able to shake off a 17th place finish in Round 2 to still take second in the Average.

Pendleton Round-Up, $12,223

After finishing eighth in the first two rounds, Egusquiza/Lord won the Finals with a 6.1-second run. That clutch performance propelled them to the top of the Average with a 17.9-second total on three. The next closest team, Wyatt/Paden Bray was four tenths behind.

Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup, $13,236

Lord solidified his No. 1 ranking heading into the NFR by winning at least $1,300 on all three runs at the Governor’s Cup. He and Egusquiza advanced to the Eight-Man and made three runs of 4.5 or faster.
