Logan Hay Brings Calgary Stampede Saddle Bronc Championship Home to Canada

Canadian saddle bronc rider Logan Hay is your 2022 Calgary Stampede Champion. An 89.5-point ride on Calgary Stampede’s Baby Kibitz allowed Hay to followed in his father Rod Hay’s footsteps and bring another Calgary Bronze home.

“It’s amazing, honestly, I’m so speechless. This is the biggest win of my career so far and I’m so pumped, so pumped,” Hay said. “I just took care of business and it felt good.”

He bested his nerves on Sunday and stayed calm going into the Championship Showdown, where he competed against his brother Dawson and good friends Lefty Holman and Ben Anderson. Dawson ended up second in the Showdown with 89 points.

Hay has jumped to No. 8 in the PRCA World Standings and is trying to make his first National Finals Rodeo. This Calgary Stampede win should give the bronc rider some extra momentum going forward this season.
