Long Shot Bull Rider William Barrows Capitalizes in Edmonton to Claim Canadian Title

Williiam Barrows conquered the Canadian Finals Rodeo

William Barrows recieved a last minute call to be a replacement at the Canadian Finals Rodeo and the Alberta bull rider absolutley dominated in Edmonton to leave with his first ever CPRA title.

“I never really had any time to prepare for it and didn’t have to think about it. Just to get the call to just be here, I’m just so grateful and just so happy to be here,” Barrows said.

Barrows rode four out of five bulls to also claim the Aggregate win and although a Round win never came his way, he won the biggest title of the week to be a first time Canadian Champion.

The next closest cowboy to catching Barrows in the Aggregate was Dakota Buttars who rode two of five bulls but in the season standings, Barrows beat Edgar Durazo by only $1,500 when the dust settled.
