Louisiana Cowboy Waylon Bourgeois Captures Cowboy Channel Rookie Roundup Champion Title

Waylon Bourgeois had an outstanding weekend at the Cowboy Channel Rookie Roundup. He went for 85.5 points in the Final Shootout Round on Faded Nite of Pickett Pro Rodeo.

“Any time you can get one of those Pickett horses, it’s going to be good,” Bourgeois said.

It was a ride that won’t soon be forgotten. In the eight-man round, he was a 79.5 on Pete Carr’s Little Bit after he won the first round on Friday night with an 83 on United Pro Rodeo’s Jungle Cat.
