Macy Auclair Dominates at the Canadian Finals Rodeo

Macy Auclair put together a dominant performance at the Canadian Finals Rodeo where she not only set the CFR record with a 1.5-second run but also set the Canadian Rodeo record with that time.

Auclair won the aggregate by over seven seconds in what was one of the most impressive performances across any event at the CFR.

“It was overwhelming. I honestly was just super excited and I had all of my friends and family there.”

Auclair took the title on the back of her horse Pistol, who she has had since she was Auclair was seven.

“I competed on her at my very first amateur rodeo I had to use her at and won the rodeo on her. Won my first college rodeo, pro rodeo, first round at the CFR, and now my first Canadian Title on her. She’s been nothing short of amazing.”

The win is the first of many in Auclair’s future as she gears up for another season on the rodeo trail.
