Macy Auclair Dominates CFR on Her Way to Canadian Crown

Macy Auclair left no doubt at the Canadian Finals Rodeo. Auclair opened the rodeo with a 1.8-second run to win the opening round.

In Round 2 Auclair finished fifth with a time of 2.8 seconds. After the opening rounds, she had already earned over $6,000 at the rodeo.

In Round 3 Aucliar posted her fastest time and the fastest time of the rodeo at 1.5 seconds. The run brought her earnings at the CFR to over $11,500.

On the final day of the CFR Aucliar posted times of 3.2 seconds and 1.8 seconds to finish fifth and first in the final two rounds.

In total, Auclair earned over $24,000 at the rodeo which won her the CFR Title.

In her final run, Aucliar knew all she had to do was post a clean run, but holding back was never in the game plan.

“Before my run I had some people ask me if I was going to back off, and that’s just not really my mentality.”

Auclair took home the aggregate title and the Canadian Title, a season-long effort.

“It makes everything worth it. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would actually be able to come and do this.”

Auclair won the Canadian title by $6,000 thanks to her dominant performance at the CFR.
