Mason Clements Sets Bar at 88 Points in Ellensburg

The bareback riding was short and sweet on Night No. 1 in Ellensburg, Washington and Mason Clements rode Summit Pro Rodeo’s Game Trail to be 88 points and take the lead.

“It’s the last 30 days and got to go get them all right now... I’ve got to get about $30,000 more under my belt before September is over and October 1 hits and they count it all up,” Clements said.

Keeping that in mind, he reminds himself to keep having fun and remember why he is there. Adding to his list of reasons is his brand new baby girl.

“That sure put a fire under my butt to keep me going the rest of the month but everything is good and everyone is healthy,” he said.

Clements is set to come back to Ellensburg for the Short Round.
