OLS Tubs Stevie Knicks came in third in the Bareback Horse of the Year race this year.

The Macza Pro Rodeo mare is known for giving cowboys the best chance to go out and win. When asked who their top picks of the year were, Tim O’Connell, Orin Larsen and Tilden Hooper all mentioned Stevie Knicks, amongst others.

Stevie Knicks had seven outs this year and some of the best cowboys going down the road drew the Macza Pro Rodeo superstar. She started out her season at San Angelo where Luke Creasy was an 85 and the scores only went up from there. Jamie Howlett drew the horse at Clovis Rodeo in California where he was 87.5 points. After Clovis in April, Stevie Knicks got a little break.

She picked back up in June with Seth Hardwick at the Parker County Sheriffs Posse Frontier Days and PRCA Rodeo in Weatherford, Texas. Hardwick was the first cowboy of the year to go 90 points on the mare. Kody Lamb was up next in Pecos, Texas with 86 points followed by Kash Wilson’s 86.5 point ride at the Mandan Rodeo Days. Stevie Knicks 2021 regular season wrapped up with two 90 points rides, one came from Chad Rutherford at Gooding Pro Rodeo and the other came from Clayton Biglow at the Kitsap Stampede.

It is no surprise that OLS Tubs Stevie Knicks was on the list for top stock of the year. She is one of the most rank bareback horses there is and we look forward to seeing her in the Thomas and Mack.
