After just missing the NFR the last three years, Idaho bullrider Brady Portenier has finally punched his ticket, doing so convincingly by qualifying No. 5 in the world.
The 25-year-old won a total of $73,105 in the 2020 season.
After going 1-for-2 and coming up empty at the National Western in Denver, Fort Worth was very good to Portenier. He rode all 4 bulls there, including two 90s, and won the rodeo. His 90-point ride on Little Hoot in the Championship Round earned him $13,200 and the event netted him $17,700 total.
