After qualifying the for three straight NFRs from 2016-2018, Roscoe Jarboe is back for a fourth time. This year, he has a chance a the best finish of his career, and maybe even a Gold Buckle.
Jarboe finished seventh in the bull riding world standings in 2020 with $61,417. He’s about $30,000 behind No. 1, six-time reigning World Champion, Sage Kimzey.
Jarboe had two very memorable moments this ProRodeo season. The first came at the Cody Stampede over Cowboy Christmas when he rode Frontier Rodeo Company’s Lookin’ Up for 90 points to pick up his lone win of the season and almost $6,000.

The other came in Dodge City, Kansas when he rode Magic Poison for 93 points in the Final Round.

Jarboe enters the 2020 Wrangler NFR coming off so big rides in September as well. In a two-week stretch, he rode Matthew for 87.5 points in Idaho, Captain Obvious for 87.5 points in Oregon and House of Pain for 88 points in Utah. All three rides banked him more than $2,000.
Jarboe’s best finish of his career came in 2018 when he was No. 6 in the final world standings with $213,801. That year he placed a career-high four rounds at the NFR.
