This will be Stevi Hillman’s fifth appearance at a Wrangler NFR. She has qualified for every one since 2016.
She is currently ranked eighth in the world for barrel racing and has accumulated $52,388.60
Hillman, who joined the WPRA back in 2012, attended 49 rodeos in 2020.
In 2020, Hillman won the La Fiesta de los Vaqueros (Tucson, Arizona), the Eastern Montana Fair Rodeo and the Cache County Fair & Rodeo (Logan, Utah). She also finished second in Spanish Fork, Utah.
HILLMAN’S WINNING RUN IN TUCSON
Despite the second place finish in Spanish Fork, it was still Hillman’s largest check of the season at over $7,000. She also won just over $4,000 in Tucson.
In 2015, Hillman finished the year ranked 175th with $6,522 dollars.
Come 2016, she would have her first qualification for the Wrangler NFR. She came in ranked sixth and would go on to place in five rounds and finish the year ranked eleventh with $156,528 dollars. In the average, she would take 10th.
The following year, she would be ranked eighth in the world with $199,619 dollars in earnings and only place in one of the rounds during the 2017 Wrangler NFR. In 2018, she finished in ninth.
Coming into the 2019 Wrangler NFR, she was ranked sixth. In round nine, she would record the fastest time for the event that year, 13.53 seconds, and finished off the season No. 10.
