Ty Wallace won over $300,000 in 2017, but had not made the NFR since. In 2020, he changed that by winning $60,234 and qualifying in the No. 9 spot in the world in bull riding.
Wallace’s marquee performance of 2020 came at the Fort Mojave Xtreme Bulls at the end of February. He won both Go-Rounds and earned a whopping 182 points on 2 head, cementing himself as the champion with 92 points on Braggin Rights.
The win banked him just over $6,000. He also won about $5,500 the week before that at the Los Fresnos (Texas) Rodeo and the Dixie National Rodeo in Mississippi.

Wallace was no stranger to 90-point rides this season. He won the rodeo in Guymon (Oklahoma) with 90 points on Big Don in August.

About a month after that, he conquered Trail of Tears for 91 points to win the First Round of the ProRodeo Tour Finale.
Wallace was truly a home run hitter in 2020 as 15 of his 22 qualified rides were marked 85 points or better.
Wallace has been to the Wrangler NFR three other times in his career and has placed in 11 rounds in his career, including six times in 2017.
