Mike Mathis has announced the Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson, Mississippi for 25 years.
Mathis says the tradition, the crowds and all of the great cowboys who enter are what makes the Dixie National the Dixie National. He loves brining the Western culture East of the Mississippi.
“The community here......they’ve worked very hard since the first of the year to make sure that Jackson happens,” he said.
Mathis has been nominated for Rodeo Announcer of the Year five times.
