The roughstock events in Round 2 could change it all. World leaders have changed after Round 1 in the bareback riding and rookies in all three events are riding like veterans.
BAREBACK RIDING
Leighton Berry has a rematch with Greeley Hat Work’s Black Kat. He was 86.5 and 82.5 points on the horse during hte regular season. He will be looking for a rebound after a slow start in Round 1.

Powder River Rodeo’s Double Take will be making her last appearances in an arena this NFR and Logan Hay drew the mare for Round 2. The two met in Billings, Montana in 2023 at the Chase Hawks Rough Stock Rodeo.

Trey Kimzey is riding momentum from a huge win in Round 1 and his Round 2 bull is Bruised Kitty of Pete Carr Pro Rodeo. Only two qualified rides have been made on the bull this year, one coming in at 90 points courtesy of JR Stratford.
