New York-Raised Roper Wyatt Imus

The son of late radio personality Don Imus, Wyatt Imus was born and raised in New York City. But spending his summers on his family’s ranch in New Mexico, he always wanted to be a cowboy.

After Joe Beaver sent him one of his NFR round buckles, Wyatt was then set on it, and luckily Beaver offered to be his coach.

Now in his second year as a PRCA cardholder, Wyatt is determined to also get to the NFR, and he’s got a good shot with a partner like 3X NFR qualifier Joseph Harrison.

This past weekend in Woodward, Oklahoma, Imus and Harrison took tenth with a time of 5.2 seconds.
