It’s one of the questions we have been getting the most: what will the payout be at this year’s Wrangler NFR?
In previous years in Las Vegas, the total payout has been $10 million. PRCA George Taylor recently stated that the 2020 payout will be a minimum of $6 million, with every effort being made to get it to the standard $10 million by December.
Even if the PRCA is not able to reach their goal, points will still count as if it’s a $10 million payout.
“For the first time, dollars and points are disconnected,” Taylor said. “We wanted contestants to know that there are still 10 million points available at the NFR. So if you come in 15th you still have the same shot at a world championship as if it were paying $10 million.”
