NFR’s Most Memorable Moments: Ryder Wright Dazzles as a Teenager

Ryder Wright was only 18 when he first qualified for the Wrangler NFR in 2016 and he quickly wrote a new chapter in the Wright family story by winning the first four rounds.

The next year was his real coming out party though. He won a Gold Buckle, joining his father Cody and uncles Cody and Jesse, but by winning at age 19, he one-upped his family members by becoming the youngest saddle bronc rider ever to win the World Championship.

In 2018, Ryder set a regular season earnings record by making more than $225,000 before the Wrangler NFR.
