D&H Cattle Company’s Extreme Bulls and Sale ended with No. 1 bull rider in the World, Wacey Schalla, as it’s champion after an 89.5-point ride but when it came time for the Bounty Bull, Schalla wound up on the dirt.
When the bull went down with Schalla, it caused an injury to his riding shoulder when it separated the AC joint in his right shoulder. Schalla took 10 days in the bull riding and 30 in the bareback riding but Schalla’s sights are set for a return to the arena at the George Paul Memorial Bull Riding on April 25-26.
Schalla sits No. 1 in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings with $125,390 to his name with Stetson Wright hot on his heels at second with $99,110 and the two also lead the All-Around standings.
