Few have been as consistent as bareback rider Cole Reiner since his entrance to the PRCA in 2020. He has made five straight NFRs to begin his career. In all four of his previous seasons, he has finished seventh (three times) or better. Reiner has some work to do if he wants to finish in the Top 7 again. He will enter the NFR No. 12 in the World Standings with $137,128 earned on the season.

San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, $17,000

Reiner got his lone win of the Texas Swing at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo thanks to three rides of 86 points or more. Reiner’s highest marked ride came in Round 2 where he was 91.5 points on Breaking News. In the Finals, Reiner took the title with an 89-point ride on Pickett Pro Rodeo’s Night Crawler.

Darby Xtreme Bareback, $12,611

Reiner showed out at the Darby Xrreme Bareback event. He opened the rodeo with an 87.5-point ride, which would only get him fourth in the Third Section. In the Finals, he would post one of the best rides of his career in the, 92 points, again on Night Crawler. All eight cowboys in the Short Round were marked 89 points or more and half of those were 90+.

Oakley Independence Day Rodeo, $5,483

The higher paying of two Cowboy Christmas wins, Reiner split it with Clay Jorgenson and Garrett Shadbolt in Utah. He also won the Western Stampede in Utah, which paid $4,795.

Gooding Pro Rodeo, $5,499

Reiner posted another 90-point ride at the Gooding Pro Rodeo where he was 91 points on Game Trail. Reiner won the rodeo by two points and took home a $5,500 check with the win.

Pendleton Round-Up, $9,488

Reiner earned the third-most of any bareback rider in Pendleton by placing in both rounds as well as the Average. Reiner scored 88 points in the Finals, bringing his two-head total to 173, placing him second in the Average behind rookie standout Weston Timberman.

Governor’s Cup, $7,500

Reiner proved the value of the Governor’s Cup is not always winning it. He did just enough to advance to the Finals and despite a fourth place finish, he still walked away with $7,500 to officially clinch another NFR.
